The constitution of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) requires that clubs (or organisations fielding a cricket team) who wish to become members of ECB must do so via affiliation to the County Board in which their main ground is located. ECB also allows any club with an affiliation to one County Board to also have secondary affiliation to an adjoining County Board.
